At Tai Yuan Heights, this six bedroom, six bathroom bungalow was transformed into a serene retreat inspired by the calmness and purity of falling snow. Over six months, the design sought to create a cool escape from Singapore’s tropical climate — a tranquil sanctuary where light, form, and texture come together in harmony.

The interiors are defined by a crisp palette of white and soft grey, enriched with translucent acrylic panels speckled like snowflakes, flowing wavy lines, and glowing curve edge blocks that mimic the rhythm of snowfall. Skylights invite natural daylight into the living hall, while integrated lighting enhances the dreamlike atmosphere, shifting with each moment of the day to evoke serenity and wonder.

Executed with precision and care, the project balanced complex forms with functional comfort. The homeowner, deeply inspired by the snow scene concept, was closely involved in material selection — making the process both collaborative and meaningful.
